Where is the best place to take a hike in Putnam County on a beautiful summer day?

I have Breakneck Ridge on my list of things to do someday. It's not for beginners, though. In the meantime I have been enjoying the Putnam Trailway, which is paved, so it might not really be "hiking" but the scenery is gorgeous. My husband and I have hiked in Fahnstock Park too, which has some nice trails.
