"Regal St. - A mix of people"
Regal St. connects W Centennial Dr to Garfield. Along it are single family homes (mainly bi-level and tri-level), a senior housing development, some affordable housing apartments, and a park / tennis court facility. For a residential street, there tends to be a higher amount of traffic, as short buses transporting seniors, and school buses transporting the kids all use the route. Higher speeds (35 mph) can be an issue, as folks use it as a cut through street to get to South Boulder. It is a beautifully landscaped street, lined with mature trees, and sidewalks that connect to bike paths down by the tennis courts. Walking distance to Walgreens, Ralphies Sports Bar, and the proposed Alfalfas.
Pros
- convenient (walk to shopping, trails, bus)
Cons
- traffic (for a residential street)
