I love Texan Names they are very unique and southern and add a rich quality to the streets and neighborhoods of Houston Texas. Even if you decide you don't want to visit the park, just drive down River Trail Drive, and you will feel like you are driving out in the middle of nowhere and that you are the only person within a hundred miles of civilization. Even the most modern harden city slicker needs the feel of Southern Country living at one time or another, so take my advice. Drive down this tranquil road relax and enjoy the scenery.
