Is the Altgeld Gardens Homes in Chicago, Illinois, or Riverdale, Illinois?

The Village of Riverdale, or the Chicago Riverdale community area.

Wikipedia says it is part of the Chicago Housing Authority. So it is in Chicago. It is almost on the border with the Suburb of Riverdale to the south. The maps show part of the calumet sewage treatment tothe north is also named Riverdale so it could be confusing when you look on the map.
