"A main thoroughfare for Seattle Center traffic"
Roy St. is at the base of Queen Anne and provides westbound traffic for people heading to Seattle Center event parking or Queen Anne Ave. restaurants and shopping. The area, itself, offers a few appartment buildings, parking lots, restaurants and shops. Traffic tends to be on the impatient side, and on-street parking in this area is usually premium, though expensive lots never seem to be full. Streets around Queen Anne always tend to be friendly and outgoing and visitors seem to keep up on this attitude. There are some fun establishments, like ChopStix and the new-ish shopping center down by Queen Anne Ave. that provide evening entertainment and great shopping. Rents are high and home prices are even higher, but the proximity to the city is almost worth the cost.

Roy St
"A central hub"
Very high rents and few vacancies but it is a great location if you can find a place. Close to entertainment, shopping and local jobs. Three nearby universities withing biking distance. Can see space needle from here. Busy four lane road but is kept well and has good, safe side walks.
