The mountains make the views spectacular. During the wintertime when when they have snow on them they are just breathtaking! Overall the neighborhood is safe and quiet. People tend to keep to themselves, but you do get to know your immediate next door neighbors and get invited to each others parties and kids grow to be friends. Once when our deaf dog got out once of the neighbors down the street drove me all around the neighborhood until we found her! That's the kind of neighborhood it is. Occasionally when a dog barks they all start barking, but fortunately it doesn't last long or happen often. We are zoned for D W Long elementary school which is a California Distinguished School in the Etiwanda school district, which is a top school district. It is a very festive neighborhood during Halloween with lots of trick or treaters and houses passing out candy. Despite all the kids and families we haven't had any troubles with rowdiness or vandalism. I love our prime freeway access to not just one (15 fwy), but two (210 fwy) freeways which makes getting anywhere easy.
