"Main Drag, Nice Houses"

San Marin Drive is the last exit in Novato, right before Marin County turns into Sonoma County. However, despite its northern proximity, the two counties are worlds apart. While Sonoma County (particularly the western part) can feel a bit like cow country, even Northern Marin maintains the affluence that is characteristic of one of the richest counties in the United States.

While this street is residential, it is a bit of a main drag that leads to other streets, making it slightly (read: SLIGHTLY) more affordable than some of the neighboring side streets. It is close to the 101, which may make this a less appealing find than some of the other homes in the area. Traffic can get a little sticky, and will probably increase with the new developments.

The biggest drawback is the spotty cell phone reception, especially further from the area. For the price tag, this should not be an issue. But all-in-all, this really is a beautiful part of the country.
