"Nice but Nothing to Write Home About"
San Ramon Blvd in San Ramon is the main north south avenues in San Ramon. On it, you will find lots of stores and fast food restaurants of the kind you would expect find in an upper middle class suburban town like San Ramon. You can find U-huals, storage facilities, autoparts parts stores, boating store etc. In terms fast food you got KFC, MacDonalds and Taco Bell. You can find Chinese food places and Mexican and two big, wide aisled supermarkets.
Here are the main “highlights.” There is a Harley Davidson store north of Crow Canyon for hog enthusiasts. As far as fast food, your best bet is In-And-Out Burger (also north of Crow Canyon), but you should expect a bit of a wait, during lunch hours the cars line up down the street waiting for the drive thru. South of Crow Canyon there are strip malls where you can check out the stores while walking around and there is a good though very main stream movie theater where you will find the latest hits (but don’t expect anything foreign or too interesting here—they are more likely to show Harry Potter on five screens than to waste a theater on a something that made a splash at Cannes).
All-in-all it is a pretty average suburban avenue, offering all the forgettable amenities you would expect from such a avenue. Great for locals but nothing to drive in for.
