"Good value, nice neighbors, noisy, trashy"
Most folks own their homes and are "house proud." There is a running crap game at the 55th Ave. end of the block and lots of kids hanging out on the street (literally, they like to stick their butts out as they lean over to chat into passing car windows.) There is a convenience store at the 57th Ave. end of Scoville Street that generates a lot of trash. I like a clean street, so I pick it up several times a week. The block has three speed bumps that cause more harm than good as the kids bottom the suspensions on their cars and then accelerate noisily. I anticipate more gentrification although this is basically a poor neighborhood in a very overpriced real estate market, San Francisco Bay Area. Paradoxically, the running crap game is next to two churches. Street parking is difficult as there are too many cars. I DON'T recommend this street.
