"Can't Beat the Beach"
For northern Californians looking for a sunny beach escape, Seabright Avenue provides a beach retreat feel, without the road trip down south. Like much of California, parking can be a challenge, especially during the warmer months.
Seabright offers a bit of a retreat from the more crowded downtown Santa Cruz and boardwalk, with a more residential feel and several great spots. Java Junction is the local internet hotspot and home to many UC Santa Cruz students. Dog-friendly Seabright Brewery offers outdoor seating, tasty appetizers (try the Salmon Bites!) and a great selection of rotating house-made brews.
Santa Cruz feel without quite as much Santa Cruz congestion - can't beat it!
