"Yup, this is Still San Francisco"
Seal Rock Drive is an unusual street in a unique area. The small side street, just off of the larger Point Lobos Avenue, is adjacent to the beach, and several unique parks. Fort Miley is known as one of the historical sites of San Francisco, while the rocks by the Cliff House are fun to play around and climb on. The Lands End trail heads to the USS San Francisco Memorial, and the beach offers stunning sunset views.
Lodging is somewhat limited, with the exception of the small Seal Rock Inn, and the homes are cute, uniform and homogenous. While this isn't necessarily THE neighborhood to visit in San Francisco, it certainly offers a different taste of the city. It is easiest to access by car, although there is a bus that runs here.

Seal Rock Dr
"Great area to visit! so much to do"
This street is a quieter street just off of a main street, Point Lobos Ave, which then becomes Geary Blvd. This street is only a short walk from the ruins that were once Sutro Baths and the cliffhouse. Both are very huge milestones in the history of San Francisco. This neighborhood is filled with friendly people and beautiful homes that are really close to the beach.
