"Scarritt Point has a lot to offer"
I spend a generous amount of time in the neighborhoods just outside of downtown and have found Scarritt Point to be quite lovely. It truly has a diverse mix of people and some of the best architecture in the city. Plus, the residents are passionate about their neighborhood. There are obviously some streets more desirable than others, but you can find homes in a wide variety of prices depending on location. Shopping is a short drive any direction, parks are plentiful, and public transport is good. I encourage you to visit and decide for yourself.

"The best collection of American architecture in Kansas City..."
Scarritt Point is one of the most beautiful historic neighborhoods in Kansas City, MO. There is a huge sense of community here, and neighbors work together to improve the area. Homeowners are proud of their historic homes and mansions, and these homes are often open for holiday tours. The Kansas City Museum is a cornerstone for the neighborhood, and Cliff Drive, a National Historic Byway winds along limestone bluffs, on the North side of the neighborhood. There is Concourse Park, and the Colonnade - both are the heart of the neighborhood. There is a diverse group of people who live in Scarritt, and many of the homes are very affordable. I would encourage everyone to live here. It has been one of the best decisions I've made.

From start to finish, mstringer1's review of his neighborhood is spot on. Scarritt Point is a beautiful, culturally rich historic district. The cherry on top are the people who live there- some of the nicest, most engaging people you could ever hope to know.
