"Old Town Scottsdale... An Adult Playground"

When choosing what part of Scottsdale you want to live, it all comes down to preference. Scottsdale is a small town with many different areas that appeal to all different groups and personalities. Old Town Scottsdale or Downtown Scottsdale is where the action is…. So if you like to get out for dinner, shopping, nightlife, etc this is the heart of the action and mostly can all be done via foot. So many things to do in Scottsdale to fit everyone's lifestyle... Take a walk through the historic Old Town Scottsdale and get a real flavor of the old west. Wooden sidewalks and rustic traditions are preserved as you can imagine tying your horse to each shop’s hitching post that still are there today. Browse the many quaint stores that line the streets of Old Town and you’ll find a mix of traditional Western-wear retailers, Southwestern specialty shops and boutique restaurants and bars. Downtown Scottsdale offers some of the finest galleries, specialty retail, cultural attractions and dining in the Valley of the Sun. Downtown Scottsdale is at the heart of the city’s art scene, with Contemporary and Western Art, Theatre 4301 and a wide variety of outdoor sculptures set amid the lush green lawns and sparkling fountains of Civic Center Mall. Make sure not to miss the Rusty Spur Salon (one of my favorites). You will walk inside what looks, feels, and is a old western Salon, just big enough for you and a few of your friends. Sit down and enjoy the nightly live music and make sure to sign a dollar bill to put on the wall!

"Working in the heart of Old Town"

Every day I am grateful for the beauty that surrounds my working life. My cosmetic surgery practice is located in the historic yet strikingly modern, art-filled center of Old Town Scottsdale. My staff and I enjoy our office in the bustling city.

You can build a lovely day out of your office visits by adding in a nice meal and some shopping. There’s a lot to see and do in our neighborhood, as I’m reminded every day. Few plastic surgeons are able to enjoy such a unique mix of old and new, the historic and the contemporary, that Old Town offers. I feel really lucky to be one of them.

"From Scottsdale highlife to soccer, baseball and parks, this neighborhood is close to it ALL!"

This affordable neighborhood is less than 3 miles from the infamous Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and other high-end shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Yet, if you are looking for a safe place to nestle in with your children, this area has a city park in walking/jogging/strollering distance, boasting an outdoor pool, soccer complex, small lake surrounded by a walking/jogging path, and softball park. Local grocery shopping includes Basha's, Walgreens (1/4 mile away), Safeway (3/4 mile away) and Albertson's (about 2 miles away). As you walk the quiet neighboorhood, you wills see Camelback Mountain in the near distance, clean wide streets, and pride of ownership.
