"A beautiful area west of the bustling town"
West Colorado Springs is located in a very pretty area. There are a lot of natural rock formations and hilly areas with some very gorgeous homes. Garden of the Gods is in this neighborhood and offers a great scenic backdrop to walking trails and nature viewing. Although Garden of the Gods is a touristy spot, there is plenty to enjoy by living here. The cost of living is higher than many other areas of Colorado Springs, but still maintains that laid back, family friendly, ease of living feeling.
There are several really good parks in this neighborhood, which lend even more to the open feeling of this neighborhood. The roads here can be hilly and a little dangerous after a snow with ice on the roads.
There are several really good schools located here, and all score above average on the state standardized tests. For anyone looking to move to Colorado Springs I would recommend West Colorado Springs for it's beauty, open feeling, parks, and laid back atmosphere.
