Shields St
"Shields Street: The typical San Francisco homes"
Shields Street extends over a few blocks from Junipero Serra Boulevard to Bright Street. What’s surprising about this street are the house styles. North and south of Holloway Avenue there is a big change in the styles of house. North of Holloway Avenue are big suburban style houses while south are the common San Franciscan houses, which are houses that connect/touch with one another. Besides that, Shields Street is a big hill, so don’t expect to ride a bike up this street without being tired at the end. And don’t expect to ride to ride a bike down this street without a rollercoaster-like experience. Nearby this street are only two Muni bus stops, which are the 29 on Garfield Street and the M train on 19th Avenue.
