Would you recommend the South Deering neighborhood in Chicago for singles?

No, I wouldn't recommend South Deering for Singles. The neighborhood isn't terribly safe, there is little to do, with few good bars or restaurants, and it just isn't the friendliest place in my opinion. It isn't expensive, which is a plus, but I wouldn't want to live there.
