"Needs a new Traffic Planner"
Traveling south on this street has to be one of the worst traffic experiences in this city. The lights are so poorly timed that if you hit them wrong, you WILL stop at every single one on the way down. To be fair, this street serves as the 101 for a period of time, which certainly accounts for the northbound traffic. However, the $6 Golden Gate Bridge toll may very well deter through traffic heading southbound, which means that the ill-timed lights are the main culprit.
There are some nice restaurants along the way, but getting there requires taking public transportation, or parking, which is never fun in this part of the city.
Unless I am driving north to Marin or Sonoma, I will avoid driving on this street at all costs. Lesson learned!
