Southeast 36th St
"Too close to the Interstate!"
Bellevue is a great area and most of the neighborhoods in Bellevue are great, except South East 36th Street. This street is crowded and way too close to the Interstate (I-90). Because of I-90 running right alongside South East 36th it is a real drawback to living in the area. There are a few apartment complexes along the street and it always surprises me that people would live there but on the positive side, if you want to live close to freeway access, this is a good spot.

"Busy and Business"
This is not a great residential street, although there are a few apartments and houses along the way. The businesses have taken over the road. This road faces I-90, and obviously has great access to the interstate.
This street was famous for a day during massive power outages during the winter of 2005. The gas station on the corner was one of the few in the entire Eastside which had gas, and traffic was backed up all along SE 36th and the connecting streets.
The street is also very close to shopping, by way of Factoria Mall. There are a couple of restaurants and gas stations. Overall, this is primarily a street of offices including T-Mobile and Quadrant Homes.
The traffic can get very busy near the meeting points of I-90, particularly during business rush hours between 8-9am and 4-6pm
