"A quiet cul-de-sac in an up & coming area!"
I lived on Spire Ln for two years from 2011 - 2013. It is a great neighborhood to live in if you're active. Tons of young families live in this area and you'll see many residents out walking during the summer with babies and young ones in strollers. This area is a newer development and Spire Ln is on the South side of it. To the south you can see fields all the way to Valleyhigh Dr NW. There aren't many mature trees in the area and you are up on a hill, which makes it so you notice the wind a little more than if you are more in town. It is a vibrant area though and we enjoyed living there with all the other active young folks. Its about a five minute drive to get over to West Circle Drive/55th Stree NW which gives you access to a ton of shops/restaurants/etc. If you're buying in this area, the price doesn't fluctuate a ton because of how transitional the area is. So don't worry too much about losing a bunch of money on the investment (unless you somehow get an interest only loan!). The people of this area are great, don't hesitate to buy here!
Pros
- Newer homes
- Quiet street
- Friendly people
Cons
- Distance from downtown
- No mature trees or wind block
