Talega is a tract housing project within San Clemente in Orange County. This area began to be built in 1999. Talega has 2 elementary schools, 1 middle school and a golf course. The schools are run by the Capistrano Unified District. Once construction is complete, Talega would have about 3500 homes of all sorts. Home to 9000 people, most of the units within Talega are tract houses that are made into apartments or condominiums.
