"love my new neighborhood"
we just moved in last june. in general, i love nashua. cute downtown, nice restaurants, great park system and library for the kids. good public schools.
our neighborhood in particular is excellent. it is well kept and surrounded by conserved land. it is part of an interconnected system of sidewalks and trails by which one can walk or bike several miles. about a half mile away there is also a rails to trails that is 18 miles long. there are currently plans to connect it to our neighborhood.
my neighbors are wonderful. mostly upper middle class white collar professionals, but also some racial and ethnic diversity. lots of kids, although a handful of childless couples. the women welcomed myself and another new neighbor with a ladies night cocktail party when we moved in. Everyone is very helpful and supportive. One of our neighbors was recently diagnosed with cancer, and several people are taking turns volunteering to cook meals for the family while she goes through chemo. the only downside to that is that it can be a little gossipy at times, but other neighbors like to keep to themselves, and that is also regarded as fine.
the only drawback i have found so far is that the deer ate my tulips. oh - and the snow. but that is all of new hampshire, and besides, my 2 year old and i were able to go sledding in our back yard.

that's an amazing story about the deer eating your tulips! Another unique comment in StreetAdvisor - thanks
