"High-End"
Twin Dolphin Drive is a very high-end area in Redwood City. Home to the elegant Sofitel hotel, it is not uncommon to come here for a meeting, a conference, or an afternoon of motivational speakers. The street is right by the water, and happens to be adjacent to several major Silicon Valley companies, including both IBM and Oracle.
The street is easy to get to, and is right off of the 101 - which can get some pretty dicey traffic heading southbound in the morning or northbound in the evening. However, this area is a bit offset from the rest of Redwood City, and almost has a gated community, untouchable atmosphere.
This is a very pretty, somewhat non-residential area east of the 101.

Twin Dolphin Dr
"busy but good eats"
This road will take you from the lagoon, west to the dolphin park. This is a very water-centered area. The dolphin park is pretty cool, i have only been there once when i was a kid. But recently i went to eat at a pretty good restaurant that is right off this road. Its called Bay Bar. Its pretty good food but quite expensive for me at the time. I spent around $30 on my meal. Other than the busyness of the road i would say its quite worth it to make the trip to dolphin park and Bay Bar.
