University Ave
"University Ave., Riverside"
University Ave is a major street that leads to the UC Riverside campus. Within walking distance from campus is the University Village. There you'll find a few restaurants like Rubios, The Ville, and Fat Burger as well as a movie theater. Classes are sometimes held in the theatre, which is kind of fun. Over the last few years, University has had some construction to improve the roads and they are much better, but further away from campus and towards downtown still needs some work. The 91 freeway can also be found at the end of University.

"University Avenue in Riverside, California"
900 University Avenue in Riverside, California is home to the University of California, RIverside, a beautiful campus in the home of Southern California. Navel Orange trees surrounding the campus and sunshine almost all year-round made UCR my choice of University to attend, as well as tens of thousands of other students. UCR is highly known for its contribution to Public Research and for all students, science majors or others alike, would benefit and definitely be intrigued by a trip to the Biological Sciences building.

"Busy college street with many shopping choices."
University Ave leads straight into the heart of UC Riverside. It is a two lane per direction road, with minor damage to it. Very close to 91 freeway--both east and west-- and interstate 215.
During the week--and fall, winter, and spring quarters at UCR--University Ave becomes very congested with student and local traffic. There are plenty of gas stations, and many shopping plazas--including a theater.
University Ave becomes more mellow during nights and school breaks, and can be used as a detour from the 91 to the 215 south. The road needs more refinement but will do just fine.
