What public transportation options do I have from Upper West Side, New York City?

It kind of depends how far up in the Upper West Side. Generally, transportation is pretty good in the area. But, the further north you are, the less train options you have. The Red Line (123), Blue (ACE) and Orange (FV) all roll through at least some part of the UWS which is pretty good.
