"Lovely, quiet, friendly"

One of the last brick streets in St Paul-the neighbors got together to preserve the brick streets and granite curbs. Just two blocks long, dead-ending in a park and well equipped YWCA with indoor pool. Good pubs, cafes, bakeries, restaurants and shopping just down the street. Condos + apartments + single family homes all well-maintained. Schools, churches, close by; access to freeway + public transit make it a great place to commute to Minneapolis or downtown St Paul.
Pros
  • Historic district.
  • Stable & quiet
  • Gorgeous homes
Cons
  • Neighborhood is becoming known!

"North of Summit --beautiful old houses, well-maintained, great schools, very walkable!"

Great public schools. Sidewalks, quiet side streets. Bakeries, cafes, hair/nail salons, a bike shop, pubs, two new and several established restaurants, a co-op grocery and other shopping on Selby Avenue. The neighborhood farmers’ market is open twice weekly throughout the growing season. 15 minutes drive to downtown Minneapolis.
Pros
  • Urban. Singles, young families AND empty nesters.
  • Condos and single family house and apartments.
Cons
  • Too many hipsters.
