"Looks Bad But Feels Good"

Port Richmond is a huge melting pot in the north shore of Staten Island. In the early 1900s the neighborhood consisted predominantly of Irish, Polish, and German residents. In the early 1960s the Verrazanno Bridge opened which caused a massive influx of Italians from Brooklyn. This diversity is still seen today, as in St Adalbert Church, a predominantly Polish parish, and Denino's Pizza and Ralph's Ices, both highly regarded throughout Staten island. Port Richmond is home to Port Richmond High School, which is, despite it's reputation of being a bad school, three time champion of cranial crunch, a Time Warner Cable trivia show. The neighborhood has undergone a recent change due to a large increase of Mexican immigrants living in the area, but if you walk around the area you will still see the remains of the old days.

"great place to shop, bad place to park"

This street has a great deal of stores along it. The Annual St Patricks day Parade takes place here attracting thousands of local residents. The street is also very long stretching miles across Staten Island. The traffic is about as worse as it gets on staten island, good like traveling from a to b on this street. It's location in the heart of many neighborhoods is a contributing factor to it's perpetual traffic. In the long run if you have to go on forest Ave make sure that you don't stay on it for too long.

"Normal Street in Port Richmond"

This is a pleasant street in Staten Island. Casa Milla Restaurant, is directly up the block. three blocks away is Denino's pizza which just about any Staten Islander will tell you is the greatest pizza on the Island. Across the street from Denino's is Ralph's Ices, which any Staten Islander will tell you is the best italian ices you can get on Staten Island. It is walking distance from several delis and is also several blocks away from elementary and high school. The neighbors on Burden Ave are very nice and there are many trees and greenery to give Burden Ave a pleasant aura.
