"Great for Dining, Nightlife and other essentials"
I will focus on the bit in the zip code 10310
Forest Avenue is the best main strip on Staten Island.
There are a plethora of options for dining, nightlife, retail and entertainment.
Dining - Cafe Milano, Burrito Bar, Afternoones. There is also Key Food, which is a pretty solid supermarket.
Nightlife - Black Dog, Burrito Bar. Very much for a younger crowd, but very fun.
You can also park for free on one of the side streets and walk up Forest to do a lot of shopping.
Many of the parades that Staten Island holds are down this street.

Forest Ave
"great place to shop, bad place to park"
This street has a great deal of stores along it. The Annual St Patricks day Parade takes place here attracting thousands of local residents. The street is also very long stretching miles across Staten Island. The traffic is about as worse as it gets on staten island, good like traveling from a to b on this street. It's location in the heart of many neighborhoods is a contributing factor to it's perpetual traffic. In the long run if you have to go on forest Ave make sure that you don't stay on it for too long.

Forest Ave
"Forest Avenue, Staten Island, New York"
This is going to sound odd but I found the best shopping place on this street. It was the Salvation Army. I bought countless clothes from this place. They were the really nice name brand clothes for a little bit of nothing. There thrift store has many nice things for cheap prices. I bought a tommy shirt for $2 and a pair of True Religions for $10. That is a deal for these brands. If you are looking for a good place to shop and you are near this street. This is the palce.

Forest Ave
"Great place for retirees and family Living"
Forest Ave leads to some of the nicest family homes and townhomes. Great schools around the corner, this is the ideal place for families starting off. Perkins resturant around the corner for a convienent bite to eat. Nice quiet neighborhoods suit the retiree needs. Medium traffic. Not enough to discourage.
