"Great housing development"

This is a newer area right around the corner from Boeing, University of Houston Clear Lake, Johnson Space Center, and Kemah. Not the closest area to stores or restaurants but the parks and jogging paths are amazing. This is an incredibly safe area for children and adults alike. The lots are small but the houses are spacious and well built.

"Much Better Now"

Recently expanded, this road is a great way from the highway to Pearland. It has a high speed limit and few lights making it an easy drive. It does not really have many stores or homes right off of it but it is beginning to expand and what is not farm land is beginning to be developed into neighborhoods. In the Pearland section of Dixie farm road contains a Walmart, a Home Depot, and several smaller stores.

"Great family area"

Great location for families. Elementary school, middle school, and high school are very close. There is a walking path, a park, and a public pool on this road. Because it is residential, the closest grocery store is a couple miles away but easy to get to. There is no real access to bar or nightlife in the immediate area but it is a nice, safe, friendly place to live.

"Awesome family living"

While there are many Townes roads in Friendswood (the street stops and starts again through the neighborhoods), the one that I am talking about is a quiet, arching road with a mix of different households. It is within walking distance of an elementary school. With this older neighborhood you get some older houses but you also get the beauty of the mature trees that line this neighborhood.

"Too much construction!!!"

For as long as I have lived in the Houston area, there has been construction on FM-528 and interstate 45. Once west of the interstate however, you get to some of the nicest houses with the biggest lots in Friendswood. It has a fair share of restaurants and grocery stores, but good luck if you have to go from this road onto the highway. Hopefully, someday they will have the construction done.

"good place to live not to travel"

This road spans Friendswood and Pearland. It contains many of the neighborhood entrances for those cities. I used to have to drive this road to work, however, and would not suggest that for anyone who does not have to. Between FM 528 and highway 288 about ten miles there are more than 50 traffic lights and a speed limit range from 30-45 miles per hour. It does have a library, a bunch of grocery stores, and several parks depending how much you want to travel on this road.

"nice and family friendly"

This street runs between Clear Lake City Blvd and Space Center Blvd. It is filled with neighborhoods, a middle school, Boeing, and University of Houston Clear Lake. With all its amenities, you would think its traffic would be atrocious yet every time I visit this street it is smooth sailing. It is in a great location to get to the highway but an even better location for Boeing and Johnson Space Center employees as well as those who desire to visit Kemah

"Great alternative to the highway"

Once the main thoroughfare from Houston to Galveston, Galveston Rd also called Highway 3 is full of stores, restaurants and traffic lights. Unless you are lucky enough to get all green lights do not expect to go anywhere quickly on this road. With the huge population of people surrounding it, this road has everything you'd need and everything you don't.

"busy, busy, busy"

This street is lined with houses and neighborhoods. This would, in my opinion, be considered a major road yet those who live on this street still park their cars on it. This causes a lot more congestion then necessary especially during rush hour when all those people from all those neighborhoods are trying to get home at the same time. It is also an older area which means you have nicer houses that owners have remodeled next to houses that are in desperate need of a face lift.

"Not a street to live on"

Great street to get you from here to there but does not have many houses, restaurants, or shopping options on the west side of the interstate. It is a well maintained road with few traffic lights and few accidents. While it does back up quite a bit during the peak of rush hour, its higher speed limits allow traffic to move smoothly. On its east side is where the neighborhoods and shops are right off this road.

"Nice family neighborhood"

This is a nice friendly neighborhood in the older part of Flower Mound, TX. It is surrounded woods with walking paths and two parks. It is also within walking distance of an elementary, middle, and high school. There is a public, inside swimming pool within a mile and most essential shopping within a couple. It is a family oriented area with families coming out in the evening and the children playing together in the yards or street while the adults sit around and talk.

"Depends on where you are..."

Depending on where you are on Bay Area Blvd you will either be in headache causing traffic or near some of the nicer neighborhoods. Being close to Boeing and Johnson's Space Center has caused this area to expand to its max. It has a library, a hospital, two metro stops, and no shortages of restaurants or shopping (there is a mall on this street). This, unfortunately, comes with the drawback of an excessive amount of traffic anywhere near the rush hours.

"Up and coming neighborhood"

This is a very fast growing area. If you were lucky enough to find a house in this area a couple years ago, your investment will definitely pay off. Several enormous shopping plaza just went up within a mile of this street as well as restaurants, fitness centers, and a movie theater. Luckily, this street is a cul-de-sac so it has not been affected directly by the increase in traffic. It is, however, significantly harder to get out of the neighborhood since they have not finished the road expansion yet.

"Busy but nice"

This is not a neighborhood type street. It is a main street with lots of traffic. This being said, however, the apartments and condos built by this street did a good job giving residents places to walk, fish, and boat. This road goes right over a finger of Clear Lake and many of the residencies have fish access or even boat access. It allows wildlife lovers like myself to be surrounded by ducks and fish and even pelicans. Because it is a busier area, travel time to stores, bars, and restaurants is nominal. It is even better now that they finished all the construction around that area.

"Great place to live"

This was a great, family friendly neighborhood street. While there is a lot of traffic on this street, there are at least three parks within walking distance as well as a neighborhood pool. The elementary, middle, and high school are all within walking distance of this road as well. People here are friendly and courteous. Resale on this street and neighborhood are steady even with the market down.
