West Broward Blvd
"Great shopping, eating, kid's attractions, and the intracoastal too!"
Our family is divided into those who like museums and and aquariums, and those who like to shop. This street is a haven for both! No one could be bored or go hungry here. Tons of restaurants and shops, some smaller boutiques but many of the larger name-brand stores too. The Museum of Science and Discovery was interactive (good) but very crowded (bad).,One of the guards told me it is always like this, even on weekdays. The kids liked the Imax. When we joined forces again, we ate again. I could live here!

North Federal Hwy
"How to get from here to there - via main street."
I've driven this highway from north to south and vice versa. It is classic traffic "main street". There are places to stop for fast food. You don't drive this road for fun - you drive it for utility. One, two, three blocks are long and just like another. Can you spell boring?

East Las Olas Blvd
"Fantastic shopping and eating - bring money!"
Las Olas is one of those streets that make you wish you were rich, like Collins Avenue in Palm Beach. Las Olas is filled with great boutiques and restaurants, and lots of bars. Boutiques are open 'til 5:00, and during the day it's busy and crowded. In season count on waiting for restaurant tables, especially those that have outdoor dining. Restaurants are busy at night both in-season and out, but it is not the same vibe. Good retaurants are well-lighted and quiet. You can hear the bar sounds and see the patrons on the street - not always a good thing..
