West Broward Blvd
"Great shopping, eating, kid's attractions, and the intracoastal too!"
Our family is divided into those who like museums and and aquariums, and those who like to shop. This street is a haven for both! No one could be bored or go hungry here. Tons of restaurants and shops, some smaller boutiques but many of the larger name-brand stores too. The Museum of Science and Discovery was interactive (good) but very crowded (bad).,One of the guards told me it is always like this, even on weekdays. The kids liked the Imax. When we joined forces again, we ate again. I could live here!

West Broward Blvd
"Good street for shopping"
This is the street that the Broward Mall is on and if you follow it far enough east it leads into Downtown Fort Lauderdale where it gets more touristy with the shops and nightclubs. Towards the west past the Turnpike it gets into a more residential area. The street is not the same from east to west- but there is shopping at either end.

"For the younger crowd...."
This street has a lot of clubs and attracts the party crowd. Maybe it was just the night we were there, but it seemed sort of unsafe, with a lot of young kids who were power-drinking and out of control. I was glad to get out of there. It’s not that it is slummy, by any means, it just seems to be the younger, partying crowd at night.

West Broward Blvd
"Downtown, lots to do!"
East Broward Blvd runs through downtown fort lauderdale and offers lost of entertainment, restaurants and dining options for everyone! There is a 2 story science musuem with an imax theater for families, and also a river walk that provides people with a scenic walk down the intercoastal to watch the boats zoom by and there is even the oppurtunity to take the river ferry. There is also a large outdoor shopping complex with a movie theater, and several popular shops as well as small street vendors and restaurants. At night, the street becomes alive with clubs and night life. It is downtown though so be careful where you walk and stay where the crowds are! It is also very historic, lots of cool interesting places to learn about! I wouldn't recommend living here, but it is a very fun place to visit!
