Cabral Dr
"Cabral Street is a difficult street to access with only one exit from the freeway!!!!!!!!!!"
I took a drive down Cabral Drive one day with a friend. I brought my son along because she had her kid. We ended up spending a better part of the day at Patterson Park, which is nice and quiet but there are too many young people that hand out there. Cabral Drive is kind of annoying to merge onto from the Freeway because it only has one exit. If you miss it you have to do a U-turn and the whole process is rather arduous. I would avoid driving on this street during rush hour because there is no sense of communication. The houses could also use some working on.

I-- 880
"Traffic is crazy but the road is really not that bad"
I know a lot of people complain about driving and the stresses that it causes in California. I really don’t mind it. Interstate 880 is a fast paced highway. It is also great for getting places in a short amount of time. Don’t be fooled, traffic is heavy but it is always flowing. You would be a lot better battling out the craziness on I-880 than you would be darting through the back roads, unless you got all the time on your hands. Once you get used to driving on Interstate 880 you will be fine.

Ardo St
"Great plant life make this area a place of interest."
Ardo Street is an excellent street for so many reasons. The inhabitation of plant life is excellent, it stretches around about four or five different streets. There are plenty of flowers and other things that grow in this area that attract many local visitors. I believe that in 2010 the city of Fremont is thinking about building a local garden museum to celebrate the different types of flowers. The friendliness of the street, great schools and couple of small neighborhood stores really make Ardo a pop-out street.

Alder Com
"Odd styled housing"
Alder Terrace is a local street that is set back from the busy noises of Fremont. The houses along this street are not your typical California style houses. Most of them are bleached white with odd looking slanted patio’s supported by pillared beams. A lot of the yards are private because they are boarded by fences that are covered in arched and angled vines. The street seems like it would be a nice place to live. I love the quietness and simplicity of the street but I am very curious to find out what the people are like.

Dusterberry Way
"Industrial road with an annual car show"
Dusterberry Way is a pretty busy street during all days of the week. The street is overly industrious. I don’t mean with factories and other blue collar places, I mean there are plenty of auto dealers and other equipment stores like pool installers and remodeling your home companies. Every year there is an auto show that goes on at Dusterberry Way. People that own classic cars drive up and down the street. People get here early in the morning and park chairs up and down the street with coolers and watch the festivities of the day. I live very close to this road and I find that the most annoying day of they year. I make sure I have everything I need for the day so I don’t have to out driving.

"Clustered together provides tight security"
Rustica Circle is a small quiet street that forms a circle and serves as a residential area to a small cluster of houses. This is a very private street but the people are warm and inviting. You can always tell when a stranger is driving by. This is an excellent area to raise kids because it is such a tight knit neighborhood. This street is centered in a very busy part of Fremont but the houses that face streets like Dusterberry Way are protected by large wooden faces. Being close to simple shopping and gas stations is a relief and living in an area of reclusive silence is blissful.

Eggers Dr
"Exercise those carbs on this street and enjoy the seasonal ice cream shop."
With wide lanes and beautiful ranch style homes, Eggers Drive is a must see street in Fremont. I am always suggesting people to get out and do some walking, it is a great form of exercise. Pick a local street around Fremont like Eggers Drive for example. This street is long enough to burn off some calories. You will enjoy the nice views, the abundance of sunshine that streams through the giant oaks and the friendly people. There is also this great little ice cream shop which is seasonal at the corner of Eggers and Kimbro. Eggers passes by some of the most familiar places in all of Fremont as well as providing great community commitment to the city. Great neighborhood to raise a family and or retire in. The is also a great deal of ethnic diversity in some parts of Eggers Drive.

Country Dr
"Can you find another street that offers all of the shopping at your fingertips?"
Country Drive is my favorite non-residential street in all of Fremont. Country Drive is the one stop street that allows me to get all of my grocery shopping and other miscellaneous items that I need. I am accustomed to this area because I have been shopping and frequenting this street for over twenty years. There are plenty of small owned restaurants that are worth exploring, in fact you could make this a hobby and try to hit one every weekend. There is a mall which has an attached movie theatre and plenty of banks. Rush hour traffic is chaotic so try to avoid the area during then. Great street to explore on the weekends.

Pennsylvania Ave
"Excellent location and great place for youngsters!"
Pennsylvania Avenue is situated behind the busy Mowry Avenue in the center of Fremont. Being in close proximity to many shops and other conveniences make this a very ideal street. Apartment buildings and student housings dot the street with the occasional privately owned house. There are plenty of trees that offer shade and great viewing. This area can be a little rowdy at times because of the younger crowd that lives here. All in all it is a fairly decent street though.

Kimbro St
"Latino Culture is thriving"
Kimbro Street is very heavily populated by Latinos. The colorful array of flags and exotic gardens are only a hint of what this street has to offer. During the warmer months when the windows are open the smells and aromas of the food fill the air. I love spice and you can taste the peppers and onions from a mile away. Kimbro street also has a sort of gathering every summer that celebrates different Latino customs. The gathering is not really recognized by Fremont although larger ones do take place, instead this gathering is known by family, friends, word of mouth and of course the people that inhabit the street. I have been to a couple of the gatherings. I bought an authentic rug from Guatemala at a very suitable price.
