Kimbro St
"Latino Culture is thriving"
Kimbro Street is very heavily populated by Latinos. The colorful array of flags and exotic gardens are only a hint of what this street has to offer. During the warmer months when the windows are open the smells and aromas of the food fill the air. I love spice and you can taste the peppers and onions from a mile away. Kimbro street also has a sort of gathering every summer that celebrates different Latino customs. The gathering is not really recognized by Fremont although larger ones do take place, instead this gathering is known by family, friends, word of mouth and of course the people that inhabit the street. I have been to a couple of the gatherings. I bought an authentic rug from Guatemala at a very suitable price.
