Art Museum Dr
"The Art Museum"
This is the art museum's own street. It is quite lovely to drive on because when you're not staring at the big white museum, you can see the lake. There is also a remarkable amount of green surrounding the area. The museum can speak for itself - it is a marvel. I recommend the feature exhibit, whatever it may be, because the audio programs that usually accompany them are excellent. It's not a place to be missed.

North Water St
"Home of the Symphony"
N Water Street can be quite busy because it is the location of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, a big attraction to city dwellers and visitors. Parking can be somewhat of a challenge, though there is a good parking structure nearby that usually has some vacancies. This is a great location because of the Symphony and the close access to great food. It is a nice place to be on a Friday or Saturday evening for some relaxation and entertainment.
West State St
"Where to Eat"
N Old World 3rd Street is a nice location. The sidewalks are popular and the traffic, though sometimes challenging, is usually pretty good. The main attraction of this street, to me at least, is the abundance of good restaurants on the street or close by. One of my particular favorites is King & I. I go there and I don't even like Thai food!

N Old World 3rd Street is a haven for those that love to grab a quick drink after work, or those that love the nightlife. It used to house Visions Nightclub, but ever since that closed down a couple of years ago, it has lacked a lot of the luster that it used to. Some of the areas have cheaper housing rentals just off the main street; however, I would caution that it isn't an area I would recommend, especially due to a high volume of traffic, and a lot of nighttime noise.

East Kenilworth Pl
"This is a Street?"
E Kenilworth Pl hardly even seems like it's own road. Though there is plenty of space to drive through, it seems like most of it is just like driving through parking lots between shops, which isn't entirely untrue. The road is very good, it is smooth and easy to drive through. It can be hard to drive straight through because it runs through some busier streets, so it is usually best as a side street rather than a straight shot to a destination.
East Brady St
"Good, Good, Good, Not so Good"
E Brady Street is a pretty straight forward street. It is a two way street, which can be confusing when encountering Prospect and Farwell. The road is pretty patched and construction is often encountered if Farwell is passed through. Toward the end of the street it can be a little tight to drive through when there are cars parked parallel.
North 8th St
"Off the Highway"
I'm most familiar with N 8th Street because it is a potential highway exit. When getting off the highway, the fact that there are cars coming from 8th as I join onto it makes me nervous some of the time, but I'm always surprised how well the area is spaced and by how much room I have to get to the appropriate lane. The road is pretty smooth and easy to drive on, though turning onto E North Ave can seem a little tight.
North 7th St
"Smooth Fast Lane"
N 7th Street is most busy when traffic from E North Street turn onto it from the traffic lights so that they can get onto the highway. Since N 7th Street is one way to get onto the highway, it gets more traffic. It can be intimidating when people speed up early to get onto the highway and change lanes quickly to get over. Otherwise, the road is fairly smooth and comfortable, and though the traffic can be thick at first, it thins out farther away.

East North Ave
"Straight Shot Out"
E North Ave is conveniently placed so that if you continue to travel straight west or east along it, you can reach numerous locations throughout Milwaukee including the highway. There are a number of services off the road such as fast food and stores. The roads are patched up in some places, but the road is effective. The traffic is not bad at all, in fact it is rather loose. Traffic lights are a big help to get cars to where they need to go. The sidewalks are often occupied and it is easy to walk to nearby locations.
North Farwell Ave
"The Street of Orange Cones"
N Farwell Avenue is a one way street running parallel to N Prospect Avenue. The road is can be quite bumpy with small hills and road patches. There is also often a lot of construction going on somewhere along the way, and sometimes you can be surprised by a construction sign propped in the neighboring side roads. Overall, it is a busy, but not overcrowded street. There are traffic lights that effectively get people around safely and efficiently.
North Prospect Ave
"One Way Street"
Prospect Ave in Milwaukee is a fairly long street that travels one way only. This can become frustrating, at times, but there are side streets along the way that turn onto another one way street that parallels Prospect Ave. This makes it easier to go in the other direction if a turn is missed, etc. The roads are pretty bumpy and there seems to be construction going on at all times, so the multiple lanes on the road are closed and cones are set up. There are several nice buildings along this street such as residential homes and the Conservatory of Music. It isn't too loud and the traffic is average.
