North 77th St
"Beautiful street and fun for kids and adults"
This street practically dead ends right into the Parks and Recreation Trail that weaves around the lake. There is great swimming and sunning as well as a paved trail for running or biking. It is mostly quiet and absolutely gorgeous, especially int he summer months. In addition, there are some great restaurants in the area. The Kangaroo & Kiwi is one that I specifically remember. It's a great place to grab a bite after relaxing on the lake shore all day. the homes are cute and supply plenty of privacy but are close eough together that you will get to know your neighbors.

"Street with a great view and great loaction"
This street is a great place for mid-sized families with kids of all ages. It's right near a school, so it'd be perfect to walk there. Not only that, but in the summer, there's a beautiful view of the lake and it is easy and quick to get there for swimming, sunning, biking, or hiking. There is minimal traffic and it is over all a quiet place. The only downfall is that school buses will be things that you'll be stuck behind on the regular during the year and the houses may be a little more pricey because of it's proximity to the school.

"Great street with nice-sized homes"
This is a pretty small street with only about 10 homes on it, but it really is great nonetheless. It offers ample property that will give you the privacy you desire, but still enough to meet the neighbors. It is right near the water and there are plenty of great little restaurants to enjoy. There is plenty to do as it is a quick ride into the center of Seattle. You can enjoy a tennis court, a sandy shore, and the Space Needle all in the same day. The only thing I would caution as it does serve as a connector between two larger streets, there is plenty of traffic which can create some noise and would require extra parental supervision for the kids wanting to enjoy the outdoors.

"Great Living Near Great Restaurants"
While the houses on this street are not huge, they are a great size for a two-three kid family. the homes are located very near a lake with swimming, beaches, and biking trails as well as some great eating joints. I would especially recommend Spud Fish and Chips or Yasuko's Teriyaki - they are both great! The only thing to watch out here is that it is a short street that connects much larger streets, so there's always a healthy flow of traffic. I wouldn't be letting little ones out to play on their own, as an accident would be inevitable without proper supervision.

"Family, Singles, or Anyone Street"
This is a quiet little street in a lakeside community that has what has got to be some of the most friendly people around living there. I actually got a flat tire on this street and three different people, whom I had never met before, came out of their houses to help me. These houses are right by the lake and theres a great basketball court nearby too. Plenty of kids and adults to befriend.

"Beautiful place for a family"
Need plenty of space, but still want that "close to your neighbor feeling"? This is the neighborhood for you! Right by the lake, it's a gorgeous setting for everyone to have an enjoyable time. The only interruption I find is that because it is so close to the Parks and Recreation Lake Side beach, there is plenty of traffic especially int he summer. Because of this little annoyance, you'll always want to keep an eye on the little ones. However, despite this, it is a beautiful neighborhood filled with friendly people and close to great restaurants.

"Great City/Fringe living"
Beautiful, small homes. This neighborhood is friendly, family-oriented, and has all the trappings of the city with few of the downfalls. The homes are located right near a park that is perfect for families to spend a relaxing Saturday afternoon at. For mom and dad, there is plenty to do in the center of Seattle a quick ten minutes away.

"Beautiful lakeside homes with private beach"
These houses are on the other west side of the lake and are only about 100 feet (right across the road to be exact) from the Parks and Recreation Lakeside beach area. The sandy lake shore is a perfect place to relax on a sunny day and go kayaking, canoing, swimming, or to just sit and soak up some rays. The neighbors are friendly and there are a ton of kids in all ages to befriend. I wouldn't recommend this to singles as there's not much to do that's not family oriented.

"Perfection in a street"
This is a great little quiet street with all the excitement of a city, but all the amenities and comforts of a suburb. The Space Needle is a couple minutes away, certainly within walking distance, (but there's never much traffic) and there is plenty to do for all size kids in the family. A row of gorgeous, well-kept houses with people living in them who obviously care about their homes and properties. Friendly folks who walk dogs and will always stop and chat.

"Wonderful for Couple"
This is a great street for a couple just starting out. It is made up of mostly small, affordable houses in a great city. It's near plenty to do, but far enough away that you won't be bothered by the city problems. There are not too many dogs barking at night, although it can be loud at times. There are not any block parties or anything that I've seen, but the neighbors are generally friendly and helpful whenever you need to borrow a tool or a cup of sugar.
