North Figueroa St
"Artistic and Ritzy Neighborhood"
North Figueroa Street in the Eagle Rock section of Los Angeles is very artsy and pricey though it is worth it if you can afford to live here. Very nice houses and a pretty safe neighborhood surround this street. Though I have found when visiting friends on this street, traffic getting there can be quite annoying especially if you are coming from the west side of town.

Culver Blvd
"The New Culver City is even better!"
Great street for excellent casual fine dining restaurants. It runs through downtown Culver City, which has in the past few years undergone redevelopment and turned into an excellent area of the town. Nice boutique shops and a fun place to stroll around and window shop. It is a very safe, clean and pleasant area of Los Angeles. It's a must see and a hip place to be!

Rodeo Ln
"Good surface street for traveling through LA"
Rodeo travels from Culver City all the way into downtown Los Angeles. On the Culver City end, there are fantastic, eclectic shops and retail locations. On the other end, there is the infamous Skid Row that is dangerous and should be avoided unless absolutely necessary. For a surface street, traffic typically moves pretty quickly and Rodeo is pretty easily navigated.
South Alvarado St
"Stay away from this street!"
Stay away from this street if at all possible and whatever you do, try not to get out in this area of town. Even driving down this street, I get nervous because the area is dirty and gangster ridden. The streets are packed with homeless people and are filled with trash. This is one of the few places I have been in the US where it feels like you are in a really, poor dangerous third world country.
Virginia Ave
"Quiet and bountifully green street"
Virgina ave is a very quaint, quiet street in an excellent neighborhood. Conveniently located to retail shops and plenty of grocery stores, it is a green, tree-filled area with plenty of space. Everything does not feel crowded together and there feels like there is room to just breathe. Pretty and safe neighborhood which is pretty quiet for Los Angeles.
Jefferson Blvd
"Busy street with plentiful shopping options"
Jefferson runs by plenty of retail options and is conveniently right off the busy I-405. A convenient street to get all of your errands done at one time. There is a Target, Ralphs, Pavillions, Albertsons and Bed, Bath and Beyond. While it is still a somewhat busy street, it is pretty easy to navigate your way around and get lots of things done at once.
Overland Ave
"Great place to get away from the hussle of the big city"
Overland Avenue passes right by the Sony studios lot and along many office complexes. Very nice and safe area which is one of the few places I feel safe strolling around on foot in the city. Great amenities and will take you from Culver City to Studio City and near Westwood. There are even a few Trader Joe’s just right off of Overland.

"Be warey of this Avenue near National Boulevard"
On one end of Castle Heights, you have a great neighborhood with palm lined streets. On the other end, you have a cluttered, noisy and somewhat unsafe street far too close to the interstate. The houses on this street are nice, but the apartments on the other end of the street are crappy and the noise and vibrations from I-10 are almost unbearable. Do not live here if you have any options.
Fairfax Ave
"Busy city street with acclecticc dinning"
While traveling on Fairfax can be a traffic nightmare, there are many things located directly off of it or nearby. My favorite spot on Fairfax is little Ethiopia. Parking may be practically non-existent, but is well worth the continued circling you will most likely have to do. The restaurants are great and the service is always friendly. Little Ethiopia is the best and great when you are in the mood to try something new.

"Busy street with Fine dining and shopping options"
One of the best streets in Los Angeles. The Grove and many other fine shopping/dining establishments are located on this street. Everything you need can be found in just a few blocks. While housing is expensive, it is very convenient and centrally located. Great place to visit and shop as well. I would say this street is very unqiuely LA.
