"Fun place to be a student, but not the cleanest or safest"
I lived on Dwight across from People's park for a year and enjoyed the experience aside from tripping over bums at night on the way home, getting heckled by the occasional crack-head, and having some of my roommates get mugged. Its typical South Side Berkeley.

"A great place to enjoy the outdoors!"
Bordering our neighborhood are literally thousands of acres of open space and wilderness with countless trails to explore. We have great views of Lake Tahoe. It is rather far from anything non-residential though, and friends usually describe us as being "up next to god."

Lakeview Subdivision- this is a great, low elevation neighborhood within walking distance to the outdoor pool and park at Burnt Cedar Beach. There is less snow at this elevation near lake level at 6,250 feet than upper elevations, and home values typically start at around $1 million, even for a fixer-upper.
