"Lovely little city town"

... for older people. I grew up here bored out of my mind. It's not exactly a small town either, but the people here carry that closeminded small-town attitude. It's a gorgeous place to live (nice landscape, great climate, and pretty nature) but not some place I would want to raise my children. There are no sidewalks in the county for people wh o like to go jogging/walking. There's only like one mall that doesn't even have all the big retail outlets. It's OK, all in all, 4 out of 5 stars.

"Serene, pleasant, friendly, and all-around great place to be."

The port of Edmonds is a beautiful suburb located in the metropolitan area of Seattle. THere are some docks built to hold boats for the puget sound. The beaches are made up of sands and logs, which are great for children to play with. There is a wonderful restaurant called Anthony's right along the pier which has a lot of delicious seafood. The nice thing about this area is that it still is located within a close proximity to all the delights of Seattle, however it is far enough away that it isn't affected by noise or shady people. The people in this neighborhood are friendly and safe.

"Busy street with lots of different things"

My father works at a used car lot on this street, and it's perfectly situated because this street gets a lot of action. There are lots of fast food restaurants, competitor car lots, and other shops here on Lake City Way. I don't think it would be a good place to raise a family, but it is definitely a good place to go shop for used cars.

"Nearby the mall -- so so for residential area"

This area is a nearby a nice little park in a safer, more family-orientated section of Seattle which is great for families with children. While it is located in the northern part of Seattle, it is still close to the nice shopping and eateries that are located in the center of Seattle.

"Fresh out of construction"

While this street is located in a great part of Seattle (close to some good shopping, and work centers), it had recently undergone some some construction work which had caused some hassle for some people. Now that the construction period is over, people are able to enjoy a freshly completed and smooth pavement to drive on.

"Seattle's uptown for those who can afford it"

Nob Hill is an incredibly exclusive neighborhood located in one of the wealthier parts of Northern Seattle. It is surrounded by million dollar (and above) homes. It is a wonderful place to live (if you can afford it), however some Seattle-ites refer to its inhabitants as living on "Snob Hill" because of its wealth.

"Gorgeous lakeside views"

This street is located in the northern part of Seattle, Washington. It is alongside East Lake Union which is always heavily populated with boaters and families visiting the lake. While the lake waters are often very cold throughout most of the year, it is still a fun place to take the family for a nice boating excursion. It is a gorgeous place to visit.

"Costly and in the heart of Seattle"

This neighborhood is in the heart of Seattle, making it an incredibly over-priced location to purchase a house. Its location is a brilliant place for shops, restaurants and businesses. The commute to work, if you work in Seattle, is greatly reduced.

"Lots of traffic"

This street is located within the Seattle metropolitan area, and the traffic speaks loudly towards that fact. ON some parts of this street there is so much traffic during rush hour that it adds an extra 30 minutes to your commute.

"Quiet and great for exploring"

186th ST SW is located in the small town of Edmonds which is within the Seattle metropolitan area. It is a white-collar suburban community within walking distance to the Puget Sound. THere is also a wooded trail inside Hut Park which is along this street. The trail is safe and directly across the street from homes, and it is also a fun place for children to explore with their families. Edmonds has an antique downtown center with unique boutiques and shops right along the beach. It is a great place to raise a family.
