"Westlake the place where my wallet goes empty"
Hello Westlake. Shopping, shopping, shopping. However, being the park freak I am I had to check out the Westlake Park which unlike the lush, green parks of other areas is a concrete treat for families and visitors alike. This area host a carousel and a shopping center that has everything a mall dweller would need without having to make the trip out of the city limits to visit a strip mall or one of those other shopping centers that has no parking and too many people milling around. NOT that the Westlake center is void of people, the area boost a good number of visitors, but it has a different feel than the normal mall.
The famous the Monorail is also in the area and is a fun ride if you’re looking for an adventure. All-in-all the Westlake area is a fun place to visit when you’re looking for a lot to do in a small area of space.

"Pretty area, great restaurants"
Westlake Ave. North runs right along Lake Union from Valley St. Originating in the heart of downtown Seattle at Westlake Center, a hub for shoppers, traffic through the city is typical until you get to the lake. Several really nice restaurants are located off of Westlake Ave. N. with water views and outdoor seating. There are some shops, but they mostly cater to water sports: boating, diving, etc. Jillian's, a fairly nice pool hall, on the corner of Valley St. and Westlake Ave., is a popular hangout and parking can be premium, though there is a large public parking lot stretching several blocks along the lake-side of the street. As Westlake crosses under Hwy 99, the trees are abundant and you can find a couple of dive shops and specialty boutiques.

"Gorgeous lakeside views"
This street is located in the northern part of Seattle, Washington. It is alongside East Lake Union which is always heavily populated with boaters and families visiting the lake. While the lake waters are often very cold throughout most of the year, it is still a fun place to take the family for a nice boating excursion. It is a gorgeous place to visit.
