"The most well-rounded street in the bay citites"
Manhattan Beach Blvd is one of the more well-rounded streets in the city, let alone in Manhattan Beach proper. It's this glorious residential street in some areas. The residential parts of the street are all quite pristine; they have well manicured lawns and most of them are quite large and beautiful. The residential parts of MBB are very family oriented and maybe a mile or so from the beach. There isn't much beach front property as far as the street goes but the homes are certainly close enough. As the street winds up closer to the beach, it definitely becomes more commercial. The houses get smaller and closer together (though, don't be mistaken, they are still insanely expensive). And, eventually, Manhattan Beach Blvd becomes pretty much completely commercial. The beach adjacent part of MBB is a veritable eatery haven. It's kind of stunning when you first see it: it's like a small village of strictly food, drinks and shopping.
There are just too many to name on this street, but I will point out a few should you happen to go there. Beaches is right on the water and the food is nowhere close to write home about; but, the view at sunset is really incredible. So, you kind of have to go. What we always do is go put our name in at Rock'n Fish and then go watch the sun go down over drinks across the street while we wait. Rock'n Fish is a stupid name, I'll grant you, but it's my favorite restaurant in Manhattan Beach and it is really incredible in every conceivable way. You really can't pass this place up. I make it a point to stay for dinner when I am in the area just for this place. Mangiamo and Fonz's are great too, but I really prefer Rock'n.
Manhattan Beach Blvd has all of the little hangouts too: cold stone creamery, every single coffee shop chain you can think of, le pain quotidien, etc. Plus, it has some great little bars like Hennessey's Tavern and Shellback within two blocks of the water. You really can't find a street in the bay cities that has more to eat on it. You add beautiful houses and the sea into the equation and this street is hard to beat.

Valley Dr
"Picture perfect street and a must visit."
This is probably the most beautiful street in Los Angeles. It starts out as a residential street and weaves through a shopping type of setup with grocery stores and such. Then it ends at the beautiful Manhattan Beach, California. This is the nicest beach in my opinion in all of LA. The street has lots of nice little shops and boutiques on it near the actual beach part and tons of ice cream shops as well. This road serves as a main trolley route with quick access from all the hotels on W. Century Boulevard. A nice little vacation spot. Great sunsets too! A must see!
