Victory Blvd
"one of my least favorite places"
Victory Boulevard has always felt like the epicenter of my bad feelings towards Staten Island. It’s an ugly street, and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the view while sitting in the epic traffic. The west side of the road comes to a weird, gated dead-end near Arthur Kill. I think there’s a lot nicer-looking ways to get around Staten, even if there's traffic on every single one.

"One of the main roads in Staten Island"
Victory Boulevard is very long, it actually crosses the whole island - from its left shore to its right shore. Victory blvd is a great place for food lovers, one can find a great amount of restaurants and cafes, besides it is great on shopping. There are really good shopping centers around that area. It is very busy street with loads of cars, but on my memory i don't remember when was the last time when the traffic stood still, although it is heavy - it always moves.

Victory Blvd
"Lots of Mom and Pop Shops"
Great places to eat - among the two best pizza places on Staten Island are across the street from each other - Goodfellas and Joe and Pat's. You will find a lot of independently owned shops on Victory, which (like Forest Avenue) is a major street in Staten Island. While Forest has a lot of corporate stores, Victory is more of a local feel.
Drawbacks - TRAFFIC! I try to avoid driving on Victory to another location, unless I need to make a stop on the street.

"lots of traffic, some nice areas"
Victory Blvd is a major road that cuts E-W across Staten Island. I am most familar with the section of the road in the Westerleigh neighborhood as I had a friend live in this area. This road is busy but just 2 lanes in many areas so that makes it congested. There is a lot of shopping in the way of strip malls, and restaurants such as delis and carryout places, but no upscale shopping or fine dining. Still, it is a safe area, just a little older.

"Victory Boulevard, Staten Island, New York"
I visited the Every Thing Goes Book Cafe and Neighborhood StageEvery Thing Goes Book Cafe and Neighborhood Stage located on Victory Boulevard. It was an interesting place. It had many eduacational books. People expressed themselves on stage in a free but open way. I had a pretty good expresso there. It also had a nice garden. It was a very accepting cafe.
Not far from there is where Goodfella's Old's World Brick Oven Style Pizza is located and it is some of the best Pizza I have eaten. I would recommend this eat for the whole family. I love this street;-)

"Victory Boulevard in Staten Island"
A trip to New York would not be complete without a taste of New York Style Pizza. And Goodfella's Old World Brick Oven Style Pizza was voted the best pizza in the country, so why not pick up a slice here? Goodfella's is hard to pass by when you see a line out the door of one of their three Staten Island locations. I choose to visit the close by 1817 Victory Boulevard location, though you can also find them on Hylan Boulevard and Rossville Avenue. And my slice of choice is from their Smokin Goodfella with mozzarella, roaster pepper cream sauce, romano cheese, basil and Italian sausage.
