West 123rd St
"Another nice side of the city"
This street is one of the better West end streets. You can safely walk or drive this street. You also can get to shopping, walking trails and the park within a few minutes either way. Homes are just that, very few empty homes, and the ones that are are evidently well maintained by either the banks or the neighbors. Most places are well landscaped, clean and very little clutter in the streets. Very few animals run the streets, however an occasional deer can be spotted coming from the metro parks area. Mainly at dusk they seem to appear. kids are seen playing near the street, and caution should be taken when driving thru the area. Street dept does a wonderful job with pot holes that occasionally pop up, snow removeal in winter is pretty prompt for the most part. In driving this stretch its not uncommon to see walkers, runners, and joggers, usually ended for the loop, but go through here, most observe the street driving lawes and get out of the way.
