"A Rather Nice Neighborhood"
If you like nice neighborhoods, you'll like W. 76th Street. It has a lot of greenery and nice clean streets. It also has some commercial establishments. It really is a nice neighborhood to walk in. You can experience seeing so many things. The big attraction I think is the NY State Historical Society at the end of W. 74th Street and Central Park West. It has a lot to offer anyone, who likes to learn a lot of NYC history.
Pros

- A peaceful neighborhood feel

"You Can See Central Park!"
New York City's Oldest museum can be found in this neighborhood along with Central Park. These brownstones are beautiful and the neighborhood is always kept clean. For the shopper, there are dozens of shops along Columbus or Amsterdam. Broadway is just a few minutes away. Most traffic passing through is either for the Planeterium on W 77th or the Historical Museum. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood. For people with kids, there is the Tecumseh playground nearby.

"Great street for families, kids"
This street is especially appealing for residents who have kids at the Little League age, as there is a Manhattan Babe Ruth Little League located here. Also on West 76th are the Manhattan Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Premier Martial Arts facilities, for the extra active youths. This is another quiet Upper West Side street, where people can retire or support their families in peace (though it is pretty expensive living).
