"American Museum of Natural History"
The greatest and most often visited sport on W. 77th Street is the American Museum of Natural History. Everybody goes to this museum. Why not. It has a lot of history.
It is hard to park around the area. You may have to seek out a parking garage. But I'll tell you, with what you will find at the American Museum of Natural History, whatever you have to do to get there, will be worth it.

"Upper West Side at Its Best"
The Hayden Planeterium is just one of the great things about this neighborhood. This is the upper west side so things are done with flair here. The Tecumseh Playground is not your average city park. There are so many things to do - handball, basketball, and the best slides and such. It does get a little tight when school buses bring loads of kids to the park. W 77th is right off of Broadway, so you get the shopping and restaurants of Broadway without the traffic - partly because it is a oneway street. Columbus and Amsterdam do sandwich us in. For exercise you can take a jog down to Central Park West. I love NY!

West 77 St
"good Upper West Side street"
Delightful street in the Upper West Side spanning the short distance between Riverside Park and Central Park. Right next to the Planetarium on the west side of the park. Tree-lined streets and beautiful residences line the few blocks of this street. There’s also a playground, if the two extra blocks to Central Park seem like too far of a hike.

"Belleclaire Hotel for tourists with their eyes on their wallets"
There is a surprisingly inexpensive hotel on this street that is also done-up in the chic Upper West Side manner (leather headboards, bare wooden floors). The Belleclaire Hotel is also a romantic historic staple of the neighborhood, and it’s close to Broadway and the Hudson river, as well as the scenic Riverside Drive.
