Living in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago - whats it like?

I'd say West Englewood wouldn't be a very good place to live. It's not terribly safe, and while you can save a lot of money (it's cheap) you probably will end up with so many other issues that it isn't worth it. I've heard the schools aren't very good, and it just isn't a place you'd want to be. You can find better places in Chicago to live.
