West Maxwell St, University Village

Maxwell Street is best enjoyed on summer weekends, when the Maxwell Street Market is in full effect. Buy drinks and snacks from the vendors, as well as goods and wares in this "yard sale" type market.

There are some large chain stores, such as Bed Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods, and Dominicks. One word of caution, being in the west loop, the streets can get a bit confusing and it's easy to become lost, especially if you are on foot. It's generally a good idea not to stray to far from Maxwell street to avoid this, if possible.
