West Portal in San Francisco - any similar San Francisco neighborhoods?

There is no exacty similar neighborhood, but if I had to pick one I would go with Potrero Hill. It has sort of the same demographic, younger couples, with some okay nearby restaurants but a little bit separated from the action by its geography. (Potrero might be a little bit younger though and it is certainly closer to the real city, with all that that means.)
