"Quiet Historic Neighborhood"
Read St is in a very quiet and historic neighborhood. It’s filled with historic buildings and houses and it’s very low key. You can tell the community is very close and focuses on the well being of others. Festivals are held every year to promote the morale of everyone involved.

West Read St
"Wonderful sense of community"
For about 4 years, I had an apartment at the intersection of St. Paul and Read streets, so I traveled Read frequently. It's not a commuter street, so it's quiet with free parking. Mostly historic apartments toward the East. Mostly renovated, cute historic homes in the North-West with a real sense of street pride and community... in fact, they even hold a yearly street festival open to everyone. Read intersects with popular North/South commerce routes, so restaurants and shopping are nearby.
