"Wonderful street to raise a family on."
I have lived on West St since I was very young and it has always been a very quaint and friendly area of Brooklyn. You can find some very beautiful properties and there is a great public school on the intersection of West St and Ave X. I would recommend it to anyone who want to find a great area to settle down, especially with a family.

West St
"On West Street"
West Street runs along the beautiful East River, so I can only imagine a rooftop view from one of the many housing businesses. This area of Brooklyn is one of my favorite places. I really like this area because of its accessibility but also because of its simplicity. Manhattan is a bit pretentious and Brooklyn is much more down to Earth, with more families and older people. All in all, a wonderful place to live! Transit: In this neighborhood, the F train runs along McDonald Avenue, with stops conveniently located at McDonald Avenue and Kings Highway and the N train at West 7th Avenue and Kings Highway, as well as at Avenue U and West 8th Avenue, not to mention the F train again at McDonald Avenue and Avenue U, keeping this neighborhood very easily accessible.
