Would you recommend the West Town neighborhood in Chicago for families with kids?

Yes, though I don't consider West Town to be the best place for families with kids. It's a young area, which I love, and it's safe, with decent schools. It also has some great bars and clubs, and can get a bit loud. I'd be more likely to recommend it for singles than families, but it's still nice.
