Buying a house in Westchester

I'm looking to buy a house next summer in Westchester. I would like to spend a maximum of $450k for a 3 bedroom. I'd like somewhere safe with a good school district...any suggestions? We'll also be driving into Manhattan 5 days a week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
